I never thought that my spouse would need nursing home care.  When he did, I did not know where to turn or what to do.  I was literally driving down the street when I saw my neighbor, who happens to be an attorney, walking her dog.  I pulled my care over and told her I did not know where to turn and that I was frantic we would lose our house and all our hard earned money.  Attorney Markessinis assured me that she could help and that I was not going to lose everything.  She was right!  With her guidance and planning we were able to keep our house and assets while making some much needed home repairs.  I also revised my estate plan!  Attorney Markessinis worked hard on the MassHealth long term care application.  I had no idea it was so long and complicated.  I don’t know what I would have done without Attorney Markessinis.  Now I can rest easy that my spouse’s and my future is secure.
